IGF-LR3 1MG Research Overview
IGF-1 LR3 (Long R3 IGF-1) is an 83-amino-acid analog of insulin-like growth factor 1, engineered with an arginine substitution at position 3 and a 13-amino-acid N-terminal extension. IGF-LR3 1MG is supplied for qualified in-vitro laboratory research and analytical use only.
Compound profile
- Compound class: Recombinant IGF-1 analog
- Length: 83 amino acids (IGF-1 with an Arg³ substitution and a 13-residue N-terminal extension)
- Molecular weight: ≈ 9111 g/mol
- Form: Lyophilized powder in a sealed vial
- Testing: Third-party HPLC purity and identity, batch-matched COA
Research context
These changes greatly reduce binding to IGF-binding proteins, so IGF-1 LR3 remains free to activate the IGF-1 receptor for longer than native IGF-1. It is a standard reagent in cell-culture and bioprocessing work and is studied in IGF-1R signaling, cell proliferation, differentiation and muscle-cell (myoblast) models.
Storage and handling
Store unopened lyophilized vials sealed and protected from light — at −20 °C for long-term storage, or 2–8 °C for short-term use. Once reconstituted, keep refrigerated at 2–8 °C, minimize freeze–thaw cycles and rely on your laboratory’s own validated stability data.
Quality and documentation
Every lot is third-party tested, and the Certificate of Analysis is matched to the exact batch you receive — look it up any time on the COA page. Browse more GH / IGF Axis Research, or see related compounds: CJC-1295 No DAC, IPA 10MG.
