TB-500 10MG Research Overview
TB-500 is a synthetic research peptide modeled on the active actin-binding region of thymosin beta-4 (Tβ4), a small, highly conserved protein found in most nucleated cells and abundant in platelets and wound fluid. TB-500 10MG is supplied for qualified in-vitro laboratory research and analytical use only.
Compound profile
- Compound class: Synthetic peptide based on the actin-binding region of thymosin beta-4 (Tβ4)
- Parent protein: Thymosin beta-4, a 43-amino-acid G-actin-sequestering peptide
- Form: Lyophilized powder in a sealed vial
- Testing: Third-party HPLC purity and identity, batch-matched COA
Research context
Thymosin beta-4 regulates actin polymerization, which underlies cell shape and movement. Research on Tβ4 and its fragments has focused on cell migration, angiogenesis, wound-closure and tissue-remodeling models, as well as anti-fibrotic and anti-inflammatory signaling in cardiac, corneal and dermal studies. TB-500 is often studied in combination with BPC-157.
Storage and handling
Store unopened lyophilized vials sealed and protected from light — at −20 °C for long-term storage, or 2–8 °C for short-term use. Once reconstituted, keep refrigerated at 2–8 °C, minimize freeze–thaw cycles and rely on your laboratory’s own validated stability data.
Quality and documentation
Every lot is third-party tested, and the Certificate of Analysis is matched to the exact batch you receive — look it up any time on the COA page. Browse more Tissue & Inflammatory Pathway Research, or see related compounds: BPC-157 10MG, Wolverine.
